This picture of the three men on the
winner's podium after the Men's 200m final at the 1968
one of the most powerful images of modern history. Almost forgotten in the ensuing years is the seemingly
quiet and composed man in the left of the picture, the
Australian silver medallist Peter Norman.

"Salute", a stunning ninety-minute feature documentary, is currently
screening in Australian cinemas nationally.
With the Olympics now underway this salute to a quiet and forgotten man explores the political turbulence of the period and the meaning
and importance of standing up for human rights.
